Valuable Chamber of Commerce data in Salesforce
With the Datasolver integration, you can easily connect your Salesforce environment to the Chamber of Commerce business register. Search for companies by registration number, trade name or address and automatically enrich existing customer records with up-to-date information such as trade names, SBI codes, addresses and branch details. An automatic update function periodically checks for changes in the register. Any changes are presented clearly in a report and can be applied with a single click.
Validating European VAT numbers with VIES
Do you work with European customers outside the Netherlands? Then a valid VAT number on your invoice is a legal requirement. With the VIES VAT Checker, you validate VAT numbers directly from the customer record in Salesforce. The number is submitted to the European VIES system, which immediately returns whether it is valid, without ever leaving Salesforce.
Always the right invoice address in the Peppol directory
E-invoicing via Peppol is becoming mandatory across Europe: already in force in Belgium, required in France from September 2026 and EU-wide by 2030. To send an invoice correctly via Peppol, you need the recipient’s unique Peppol Identification Number. With the Peppol Directory integration, you look up that number directly from Salesforce, ensuring your invoice always reaches the right destination.

How can I search for new companies?
You can find companies by searching using the Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number, trade name, address, or a part of the address.
Can I enrich existing companies with additional information?
Yes, you can easily expand existing records with the information obtained through Datasolver.
How does the automatic periodic check work?
The tool automatically performs checks on previously reviewed companies. If there are changes in the register, they are displayed in a report, which you can use to update the information with a single click.
What data is stored in the customer record?
Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number, establishment number, legal form, main/commercial branch, number of employees, trade names, addresses, and SBI codes.
How do I add new SBI codes or trade names to existing companies?
These details are automatically added to the related lists when a company is enriched.
What is the VIES VAT Checker used for?
To verify whether a European VAT number is valid. You do this directly from the customer record in Salesforce, without visiting an external website.
What is a Peppol Identification Number?
A unique number that allows businesses to send and receive invoices via the Peppol network. You need this number to ensure an invoice is correctly delivered to the recipient.
How do I look up a Peppol Identification Number?
Directly from Salesforce. Datasolver searches the Peppol Directory for matching results and displays them immediately on screen.
Can I use all three features independently?
