What is the Exact Connector?
The Exact Connector is an integration solution that connects Salesforce and Exact Online. It

systems through a visual mapping interface.

The visual mapping interface enables users to easily link fields and objects from Salesforce

Do I need programming skills to use the Exact Connector?
No, the Exact Connector is designed for use without programming knowledge. The visual
mapping and intuitive user interface make it easy to synchronize data and make adjustments
without coding.

Is the Exact Connector secure?
Yes, the Exact Connector uses secure API connections and follows best practices in data protection. Data is transmitted encrypted, and authentication is performed via OAuth.
What are the requirements to use the Exact Connector?

Is a PDF Invoice still valid after 1-1-2026?
For Belgian B2B customers, a structured e-invoice via the Peppol protocol is required; PDFs are not considered e-invoices under the new regulations.
Does e-invoicing have to be done via Peppol?
Yes, Belgian B2B e-invoices must systematically be exchanged via Peppol. Other European countries will follow soon
Which standard should I use (UBL/EN 16931)?
Belgium follows EN 16931; in practice you use Peppol BIS 3.0 (UBL/XML).
Does the Exact Online Connector support this out of the box?
Yes. Exact Online provides registration/activation of Peppol and supports sending/receiving e-invoices via the network. Our Connector integrates seamlessly with this.
