Everyone involved in Salesforce implementation knows why Salesforce was chosen. Everyone understands the purpose and how Salesforce helps make business processes better and smarter. That is important, but what is just as important is the support for Salesforce among the employees who work with it on a daily basis. They may not be as involved in the initial implementation, but they are the ones who work with it the most.

In this article, we would like to tell you how you can ensure that everyone in an organisation embraces Salesforce. Because only then can a Salesforce implementation be.

Create support by communicating

If you want everyone in an organisation to see the added value of Salesforce and understand why Salesforce was chosen, it is important to communicate. Share your thoughts on the following topics, for example:

  • Why do we need a CRM system like Salesforce?
  • As an end user, what is the added value for you of implementing Salesforce?
  • What does work with Salesforce look like?
  • How does Salesforce work?

Let managers lead by example

It may sound childish, but it is important that managers and other executives set a good example for everyone in the company. In their role(s), they can show everyone how the organisation as a whole is supposed to work with Salesforce. If they take this role, they clearly show what they expect from others.

To do this, it is important that managers and other executives have had the right training. Are you yourself actively implementing Salesforce as a manager? Use data from Salesforce in various meetings to support your message and show everyone how to use data from Salesforce.

Invest in key users

Key users are Salesforce users who regularly act as a sounding board within a company for other employees, Salesforce managers or the implementation team. In other words: employees who have embraced Salesforce and are happy to share their acquired knowledge with others. If they tell about the new tool from their enthusiasm for Salesforce, they thereby stimulate other colleagues and support for Salesforce will grow.

Salesforce continues to evolve

Salesforce should be evaluated periodically after implementation to see if the tool still suits the company’s needs and goals. It is not a tool that can run unchanged for years after implementation. And that’s only good for your business! By meeting at set times with key users and Salesforce specialists, such as a CRM partner, you can be sure that you are getting the most out of your business with Salesforce.
